Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Season the Labrador slices with paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Add them to the skillet, and cook until browned on both sides, about 4 minutes per side. Remove the slices from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the crushed tomatoes and white wine to the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then return the Labrador slices to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
  5. Cover the skillet with aluminum foil and transfer it to the preheated oven. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the Labrador is cooked through and tender.
  6. Remove the skillet from the oven, uncover, and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve the Labra-deli hot, alongside your favorite side dish.
